Caned Furniture Repair

zcane

There are two types of cane restoration – cane or rushseating. Cane work is typically found on the back or seat of a chair, and rush seating is found only on the seat.

As seen in the photo on the left, overtime cane and rushseating starts to show damage and makes your beautiful items unseenly and become unusable. Such damage results in the seat/back needed to be re-caned.

Both types of canework found on chairs and sofas can be corrected and put right by us.

If you have chair seats that require attention to the cane work you can email us at admin@timgarside.com.au  or call us on (02) 9457 6679 to make a time for us to come and examine the furniture.
